About me

I’m Ranga, a product designer from Chennai.

I have over nine years of experience designing products. I try to balance what people need with what makes sense for the business.

I’ve recently moved from only designing to designing and building. AI has made it easier to explore ideas and work directly in code—something that once felt like forbidden fruit.

Outside work

When I’m not working, I photograph, play badminton, and watch conversations with founders. Ab Gupta’s videos are a recent favourite. Science fiction interests me, and I enjoy reading—less often full books, more often interesting snippets I come across.

I’ve started writing, and I want to spend more time on personal hardware projects. I enjoy repairing and retaining things rather than replacing them. Most recently, I repaired my MX Master 3S.
